inconvenient transfershuttle bus

the speedboat transfer did not take us directly to the hotel pier. instead we traveled to baan tai and then took a shuttle bus. the hotel seemed aware the boat would not arrive at the hotel. i found this inconvenient and less direct than expected.

i found the room to be a bit dated it was like it needed some updating. there were some small maintenance issues like a flickering light. the breakfast selection was ok but not amazing i wished there were more fresh options. the service at the restaurant was slow sometimes i think they were understaffed.

The beachfront location was fine and always super clean. Our private pool was clean. The staff showed genuine kindness and attentiveness throughout our stay. I appreciated the live music in the evenings. The jazz and Billie Eilish covers were a relaxing touch.

The coffee machine in the room did not work correctly on several occasions, requiring multiple attempts to brew a single cup.

the breakfast had a delicious presentation. the beach area felt cozy and had a relaxing atmosphere. there is a charming little street right next door. it offered massages, restaurants, bars, and laundry service.

the resort felt old and outdated as soon as we entered. it seemed that everything started to deteriorate and the rooms had a smelly odor. the ride to the hotel was dangerous because everything is steep and full of stairs.

The staff was friendly and efficient. They always greeted us with smiles. I loved the views of the bay ( fine!). The free activities at the beach, such as paddle boards and kayaks, were a hit with everyone. The golf buggy service made getting around the resort simple.

Sometimes, I had to wait a while for a buggy, even when going to the pool.

The breakfast offered both Western and Thai options. The food tasted good and had a wide variety of choices. I especially enjoyed the fresh juices that they prepared daily for the guests.

The room was quite spacious and well-appointed. The bathroom included two separate sinks. The bedroom also felt very large with ample space for luggage. The provided robes and slippers added a touch of luxury.

The team communicated with us via WhatsApp for requests. This made coordinating transportation and services straightforward (it was very responsive!). They arranged a prompt shuttle when I needed transport to a local doctor.
